Quoting Information
The following is a list of information we will need to be successful in our quoting and manufacturing processes for turnkey and consigned jobs. The preferred medium is electronic data.

Files Required for RFQ and Manufacturing
- Bill of Materials – Excel format preferred
- Manufacturer’s Names and Manufacturer’s Part Numbers
- Reference Designators
- Part Description
- Quantity Required
- Special Contract or Registered Pricing Arrangements
- Fixtures or tools required
Supported CAD Types and PCB Files
Supported CAD types for machine programming:
Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Cadence OrCAD IPC-2581, Eagle Layout Editor, GcnCAD v 1.4, Veribest, IPC-D-356, Mentor Graphics Expcdi\ion, Mentor Graphics Neutral File, OrCAD, PADS, P-CAD (method I), P-CAD (method 2), Protel 98/99 ASCII PCB File Version 3, SCI Cards Neutral File, Tango for DOS, Valor ODB++ Cad Project, Zuken Visula and CADSTAR
Gerber Files+ Celttroid data:
- Array Gerber Files if Panelized (If customer is supplying their PCBs).
- If supplying Gerber Files only, X+Y centroid must be included. (CAD is preferred)
- X + Y centroid preferred units: mil, mm, and in.
- X+Y centroid must include RefDes – Placement X+Y(center location) – Theta rotation – Footprint name.
- Fabrication DWG and specifications also needed
Assembly Drawings
- Type of Build: RoHS, Leaded
- Assembly Drawing (With All Polarities Clearly Marked)
- Assembly Instructions
- Workmanship Standards
- Drawings/Specifications for any fabricated items or sub-assemblies
- Special Process Procedures
Testing
- Test Procedures and Scope of Work
- Flying Probe / ICT Files, Generic CAD Files in ASCII format
- Schematic
